It integrates various elements such as guiding principles, governance, service value chain, practices, and continual improvement into a unified system that ensures consistent and effective service management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Service Value Chain:<\/strong> The service value chain is a key part of the SVS and outlines the main activities required to create and manage products and services. It includes six interconnected activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Plan<\/strong>: Ensuring a shared understanding of the vision, current status, and improvement direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improve<\/strong>: Ensuring continual improvement of products, services, and practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Engage<\/strong>: Understanding stakeholder needs and ensuring transparency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Design and Transition<\/strong>: Ensuring that services meet expectations for quality and performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Obtain\/Build<\/strong>: Ensuring service components are available as and when needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deliver and Support<\/strong>: Ensuring services are delivered and supported according to agreed specifications and stakeholder expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Four Dimensions Model:<\/strong> The Four Dimensions Model ensures a holistic approach to service management, considering all aspects necessary for successful service delivery and value creation. The four dimensions are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Organizations and People<\/strong>: Ensuring effective structure, culture, roles, and skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Information and Technology<\/strong>: Managing the information and technologies that support service management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Partners and Suppliers<\/strong>: Working effectively with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth service delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Value Streams and Processes<\/strong>: Optimizing workflows and processes to deliver value efficiently and effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These core concepts form the foundation of ITIL 4, guiding organizations to align their IT services with business needs and drive continuous improvement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
